Jonathan Frodella represents municipalities and land-use boards throughout the state, both as general counsel and as special counsel for matters arising under the Open Public Records Act (OPRA). Alongside his government-services practice, Jonathan litigates commercial matters in the state and federal courts of New Jersey and New York. He also has significant experience in motion picture and television financing transactions and maintains a business-law practice in New Jersey, handling M&A, financing, and commercial real estate matters.
Jonathan clerked for the Honorable David J. Weaver, J.S.C., serving in Morris and Sussex Counties, and earned his JD from Duke University School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and the Student Note Editor of the Alaska Law Review. He earned his BM in vocal performance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where he gained the Sarah Graham Kenan Award for Excellence, which included a full-tuition scholarship.
